New biographical information about M. V. Lomonosov from the collections of the State Historical Archive in St. Petersburg
Osokina N. N.The author undertook a thorough review of two 18 th-century parish registers that were expected to contain information related to M. V. Lomonosov and his relatives. The newly found documentary evidence helps correct or verify some biographical details of Lomonosov’s family life. In particular, it confirms that his wife, her daughter, and her other relatives arrived in St. Petersburg no earlier than 1747, rather than 1743.
